This was the second book in her series. I found this slightly more intriguing. (Spoilers ahead).
Bellamy leaves NC and moves to Chehalis, Washington. This intrigues me as someone raised in this area of Washington State. How did Michele Leathers choose Chehalis? She must have some ties to this area.
Back to Bellamy, she reinvents herself as a lady named Charity. She tells everyone that she is on the run from an abusive relationship and prefers to stay quiet and out of site. However, when she meets Roy she decides that she wants him and the fortune that he will inherit upon the death of his grandmother.
There are many twists and turns in this book. Everything from Charity, to the grandmother, Samantha (Roy’s GF), and of course Roy himself. What does Roy know? Does Charity Succeed?
