This festival takes place in Sun Valley Village, which is a lovely shopping center next to the Sun Valley Resort. The charming stores, restaurants, and other buildings in this village are fully decorated to make you feel like you are in a true winter wonderland.
There are activities all throughout this event including a tree-lighting ceremony and visits from the big man himself, Santa Claus.
Walk around and you’ll feel the holiday spirit as you enjoy performances by Sun Valley carolers and check out the incredible gingerbread houses on display. There are even activities like ice carving demonstrations, an open-air holiday market, and so much more.
You’ll want to spend at least one day gathering your loved ones and heading to the outdoor ice rink for the perfect holiday activity. You may even time your visit just right to catch an ice skating performance.
Of course, there is nothing more festive than a winter sleigh ride along the nearby trails. This is just one of the many holiday memories you can make in this Christmas village.
And the perfect way to celebrate Christmas Eve? Watching the Torchlight Parade down Dollar Mountain and an incredible holiday firework display.
