Book Review: White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism

White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism by Robin DiAngelo

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I read this book for work, as it was suggested to fulfill my Diversity requirement for the year.

I chose the audio book, as I concentrate better with audio books. The author read her book, which was fine.

I just find that her way of trying to explain to EVERYONE that they are racist and to deal with it, so you can overcome this problem… was exhausting. Trying to shove information down folks throats that make them doubt themselves, their values, and things that they hold dear to try to prove her point was not my forte.

I was more than thrilled to be done with this.
