This is book 5. I liked this one a bit more, it did have a nice plot twist that I had not seen coming. Again, all plans were foiled. I am not sure what is going on with this series, the author seems to want to just crank out material and it is just subpar. This one had potential. Too many things were left unanswered and we won’t know because the next book she will be someone else.
If the author wants us to connect with the protagonist, she has got to actually “finish” the book. What happened with Lacey’s death? Does Cory and Tasha get caught in Mexico? What happened to Clair, Ned, and Oliver?
I am disappointed because I am investing my time in a series, and it is letting me down.
